Let me tell ya about my best friend and the most dreamy trip! We road tripped to Nashville on Wednesday night and we came back Sunday morning. Just a quick little getaway but lots of memories made!
First off, let me just say there is soooo much yummy food. We couldn't squeeze in all the places we wanted to try because our stomachs couldn't handle it haha. But the places we did go were SO GOOD!
Coffee shops:
Frothy Monkey (our favorite!) In Nashville and Franklin
Honest Coffee Roasters (in the Franklin factory)
Milk & Honey (we didn't get to go here but wanted to)
Food:
Hattie B's (everyone has to go here! SO GOOD and a staple)
Mojos Tacos (in the Franklin factory, was good but not a must)
Emmy Squared (a favorite! Such good pizza and a cute rooftop seating area)
Adele's (a little more expensive but so good and a little fancy)
Whiskey Kitchen (I didn't love what I got here but it was a fun place and everyone else loved theirs)
Pharmacy Burger (we didn't make it here but wanted to!)
Eddy's BBQ (we didn't make it here either but also supposed to be really good)
Jeni's Ice Cream (the BEST! we loved this so much, a lot of locations)
Five Daughters Bakery (amazing doughnuts and they have GF and vegan options!)
Gracie's Milkshake Bar (huge milkshakes and SO yummy!)
Franklin's Juice Bar (amazing smoothies and açaí bowls, healthy!)
Alright let's talk fun places to go! We did a lot of shopping because there were SO many fun boutiques. There are some huge shopping malls too but we're all about the unique places. If malls are more up your alley you should check out the Opry Mills Mall.
Factory at Franklin - cute shops, Amelia's flowers, jeni's ice cream, Honest Coffee Roasters, and some fun food places
Downtown Franklin - this is where we found most of our fun new clothes, also our favorite coffee shop is here
12th Ave South in Nashville - this street is so hip and fun...probably our favorite strip! This is also where we found all the fun murals
Grand Ole Opry - we saw a show here and it was amazing, I've also done the backstage tour and it was worth it! So cool.
Explore Franklin Neighborhoods - the most beautiful houses and so fun to dream
Lavender Nails - in Franklin we treated ourselves to some pampering
Amelia's flower truck - they post on their instagram where they'll be that day!
Now let's see, where to stay! We knew we wanted to stay in Franklin, it's 20 minutes from downtown Nashville and the cutest place. We looked into airbnb's but it ended up being cheaper for us to do a hotel, we stayed at Aloft in Franklin. It was perfect, hip, and fun and very clean! Just decide what's a priority to you, if 90% of the things you want to do are in Nashville it might be smarter for you to stay there. But either way make sure you explore Franklin!
Hope you get to see this beautiful place, let me know in the comments if this was helpful! XOXO, Brooke Marie
